20 Long Held Scientific Beliefs That Have Been Disproven
Science itself is an imperfect science, and using new evidence to question or disprove previously held beliefs is a crucial part of progress. Although we don't often hear about new discoveries in the news, fresh science is going on all around us, and many of our old beliefs have been disproven over the past 10 years.

Read about that discovery and more in this collection of long-held beliefs that have recently been disproven or called into question.
